Hello everyone. Wondering if you could translate .brf or the braille note equivolent of .kwb files to .doc, .txt, etc.
Just wondering. I have a lot of .brf files and a computer and no embosser or braillenote to read them. It would be a waste to delete them.

There's a program called nfbtrans which is a command line app that will do the trick. There once was a windows based interface to it, but the website has been taken oer by a squatter. I'm very tempted to see if I can somehow get control of the domain, as it was a very useful program. If nyone recalls who the author of the windows interface was, please remind me. I have a copy of it somewhere.

Hello.
If you have a program like openbook or kurzweil, you can translate them this way. If so, let me know and I'll tell you how to do it with either program. Alternatively, Wint is about your only option, and I have a copy of it here. I'm not sure if it's in violation of copyright law to distribute it, and I would suspect it isn't, since the program is no longer being distributed by the makers of it.
